There are lots of reasons I focus on newborn and family photography, but one of the biggest is knowing that the photographs I create will give families something special to look back on as their children grow.
Whether it's parents wanting beautiful photographs of their children to cherish for years to come, or children looking back on those carefree days of childhood, I love creating images that preserve those memories.
As a child, I was painfully shy and had a stutter, partly due to my dyspraxia. I also struggled to pronounce the letter L, so you can imagine the fun I had trying to say my own name! Because of this, I understand that some children can feel nervous or reluctant when it comes to having their photograph taken.
This experience has shaped my relaxed approach to photography. I aim to make sessions fun, relaxed and enjoyable, so that you not only come away with beautiful photographs but also have great memories of the experience itself.
Family is incredibly important to me. As the oldest grandchild, I was often tasked with entertaining my younger cousins, and I'm now enjoying my role as the favourite uncle to my adorable niece. I've always enjoyed being around children and feel comfortable helping them relax in front of the camera.
Alongside my lifestyle family, children's and newborn photography, I also enjoy helping my younger sister photograph her amazing textile creations.
