THE BIG SHOOT EXPERIENCE
What Olympus and I set about creating, over a year ago now, was a way for me to share what I do as a professional commercial photographer with everybody who has a passion for taking pictures. And not just taking pictures using an Olympus camera! If you ask me why, I'll be happy to explain why I believe the OM-D is the best camera in the world for me. But at the end of the day, I don't care what system you're using - if you're interested in creating photographs, I'm interested in showing you what the real world of commercial photography is all about.

And that's what the Olympus BIG Shoot Experience is: your opportunity to join me on a photoshoot that is as close as it possibly gets to a real, live, big-budget commercial job. We work to a brief, we hire a location, top models and MUAs, buy and create bespoke props and outfits, then you get to join me and my team as we explore storyboards, concept sketches, scout the location, build the sets, rig the lights, compose the images and capture the final shots - all to the highest standard, for publication purposes.

In fact, sometimes it's more than just regular publication; for June's BIG Shoot Experience we shot an actual ad campaign for The Dirty Cow Burger Company at the award-winning O Bar in Birmingham! We strictly limit the numbers on each BIG Shoot so that everyone can contribute and be part of the experience, so seven eager photographers were able to join me on the day as we created some images that I'm extremely pleased with - and that I'm extremely proud to share with you here!
