Section 5 (Locations)
Within the Locations section of METAmachine, users are able to add location information to images, as well as including in-depth IPTC Scene and Subject codes which is excellent for news and press photographers. In addition to this, METAmachine also has a link direct to the IPTC website so if users are unsure on which codes to apply, then help is at hand.
Also within this section copyright info can also be applied. Copyrighted, Public Domain or unknown.
Section 6 (IPTC)
Within the IPTC section is where the user can add specific instructions to accompany any given image(s), any specific job identification, headline, etc.
Plain and simple (as indeed all of the sections are within METAmachine).
They must be, I have been using it for years now and never opened the instructions ! Always a good sign !
Now you may be thinking ... wow that is a lot to take in ... and METAmachine is FAR too advanced for what I need, and yes probably it is !!
It certainly is even for my me ... (and I use it every day)!
However, no matter what you photograph, weddings, portraits, products or stock; and you only use the keywording and copyright aspects of the program... trust me when I say you will be amazed at the time savings!
When I was researching my new seminar, I wrote to Jim over at METAmachine HQ and asked if he would be kind enough to offer delegates a small discount if they purchased the program upon my recommendation?
To my complete amazement (personally I think he has gone mad ... and I told him so ... if people wish to purchase it just type in the following discount code: Dave Wall
And you will get a massive (read: insane) 50% discount.
That's $25 not the usual $49 ... about £17!.... it would be rude not to!
