Another area that has been growing for me in the last few years are motion filming projects - clients wanting my style of photography but with motion. This has been a big learning curve, but is an area I see growing more and more as technology moves forward.

Lots of clients now want stills and motion and I feel it is something we as image makers need to be aware of - an area where we as image visualisers can bring a lot to the projects. It is amazing how many of our stills photographic techniques can add so much to the moving image. I will show some of the recent films I have been involved with for lifestyle advertising and for car manufactures around Europe.

In the Superclass we will be able to put what we are talking about to practical use. Showing how the camera movements are used on location and giving you the opportunity to play with them on my camera system, a medium-format digital back on the latest Linhof technical camera. We will be able to go through the lighting of an interior space showing how the lights can be used to balance the space and how they can be used to enhance the surfaces and also add depth and drama to the space. You will also have the chance to shoot your own images of the space with your own kit or try my camera system .
